Climate Smart Gardiner is a taskforce of volunteers based in Gardiner, NY which works to reduce air and climate pollution, protect the environment, promote biodiversity and fight climate change. Gardiner is a town in Ulster County which has a population of approximately 5,600 residents and which lies at the base of the Shawangunk Ridge in the beautiful Hudson Valley. The town retains much of its agricultural character and strives to protect its natural beauty for future generations.

As such, Gardiner launched its Communities Campaign in December 2023 to encourage the adoption of technologies which reduce our impact on our cherished environment by reducing our air and climate pollution. The campaign is an outreach effort to provide information on electric vehicles, clean heating & cooling and community solar. 

This video series is designed to provide information on how to leverage federal state and utility incentives to adopt these technologies, making them more competitive to their fossil fuel counterparts. We also highlight the efficiencies and ongoing cost savings that these technologies bring.
